Temple Emanu El is a warm, loving place that is the East Valley's best kept secret for synagogues! My daughter just started in the preschool, which is a clean, caring environment that keeps her engaged and happy all day. They recently hired a new full time rabbi, who is making great inroads in building the community and making services engaging and accessible. If you're looking for a new Jewish home, this is the place!

Our child has been going here for more than 2 years now, and loves it. When she first started, she was really shy -- the teachers were/are very nurturing and helped her and us develop her social skills so now she has school friends. The school makes learning fun for her, and offers optional classes like karate and creative dance that are so convenient because my daughter can take these at the school, instead of me having to shuttle her across town for these types of classes. The premises are very clean, the teachers help with potty training, the school's afternoon program has enrichment programs, the director is willing to work with parents and their schedules, and the playground (shaded with a giant tree) is wonderful. It's also non-denominational, open to the community.
